This is role is a “Primary” staff position and the selected candidate will direct squadron personnel program and associated administrative activities. This position reports directly to the Deputy Commander for Seniors 

Administrative responsibilities of Personnel Officer:  

  • Membership records and applications including completion of FBI fingerprint cards. 

  • Organizational actions (charters, deactivations, etc.)  

  • Appointments  

  • Promotions and demotions  

  • Awards and decorations  

  • Duty assignments  

  • Transfers  

  • Retirements  

  • Membership terminations  

  • The personnel officer at all levels should be familiar with the Constitution and Bylaws, CAPP 200 and CAP directives in the 20, 35, and 39 series
